I work full-time for the Citrus County Library System as a Reference Librarian at the Homosassa Public Library in Homosassa, FL.

On August 1, 2008, I graduated from Year 4 of the Sunshine State Library Leadership Institute in Tallahassee, FL at the Florida State Library. The Leadership Institute began in November 2007. For nine months I attended monthly sessions at the Port Orange Public Library in Port Orange FL. Click here for photos from graduation.

On August 9, 2008, I graduated from the University of South Florida, School of Arts and Sciences, with my Masters Degree in Library and Information Science! It took me thirteen semesters, just over four years to complete the program--but I did it! Click here for photos.

Librarianship is my second career. I previously worked for a couple banks in Chicago, IL and a major telecommunications company in Naperville/Lisle, IL. Over the years I have worked as a computer programmer, a systems analyst, and a web technology manager.
